Toshiba 15LV505 Specifications
The only midsized LCD HDTV to be produced by a well known brand name, the Toshiba 15LV505 is a 15.6" LCD with HDTV compatibility, a built-in DVD player and playback capabilities for a number of different digital media formats. The 15LV505 is designed for bedrooms, dorms, underneath kitchen cabinets and other places where a larger model wouldn't be an appropriate choice.
The Toshiba 15LV505 offers high picture quality with analog, digital and HDTV signals with 1366 x 768 resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio which makes this model a good choice for viewing widescreen video. One caveat for consumers: the aspect ratio can make 4:3 aspect ratio HDTV content appear a little on the small side, though given the picture quality of the 15LV505, it's unlikely many users will consider this to be a serious problem.
The built in DVD player can handle playback and display of video, audio and pictures on DVD/DVD-R/DVD-RW/VCD/CD/CD-R/CD-RW media. JPEG images, MP3 and WMA audio and DIVX video are all supported, as well as DVD video.
